First look: The swanky suites planned for Oceania's soon-to-debut Sirena
Oceania Cruises is promising a major overhaul of the top suites on the ship it's taking over from Princess Cruises in April.
As can be seen in the newly released artist's drawings in the carousel above, six Owner's Suites on the 684-passenger Sirena will boast a new, contemporary design with an airy color palate and plush custom-made furnishings. A renovated master bath will feature a lavish, oversized shower.
The ship's four Vista Suites also will feature a new crisp and modern look with revamped sitting areas and large bedrooms filled with Oceania's signature Prestige Tranquility Beds. Renovated master baths will be infused with marble and offer expansive showers.
Oceania on Tuesday also announced it will introduce a new collection of tea-scented Bvlgari bath amenities on Sirena for passengers in rooms at the Concierge level or above. Owner’s and Vista Suite passengers also will be presented with a keepsake gift box of Bvlgari amenities.
The suite makeovers are part of a massive, $40 million overhaul of the 15-year-old ship that Oceania plans before putting it into service. The 35-day renovation also will include a revamp of the ship's top decks, lounges and other cabins.
Sirena is a sister ship to three vessels already in the Oceania fleet -- Regatta, Insignia and Nautica -- and will offer a similar array of amenities including a fitness center and spa; six lounges and bars; and a casino.
Sirena is scheduled to enter service on April 27, 2016 with a 14-night cruise from Barcelona to Venice.
