Moody Blues to headline another music cruise
Moody Blues fans, your ship has come in. Again.
Norwegian Cruise Line in February will host another Moody Blues Cruise, the third for the iconic 1960s band.
The four-night sailing on the 2,394-passenger Norwegian Pearl will include performances from the Moody Blues as well as several other bands including The Zombies, The Orchestra, Ambrosia, Randy Hansen and Mellow Yellow.
Also on tap for passengers will be performances by Vanilla Fudge; Strawbs; Chuck Negron (former lead singer of Three Dog Night); Mark Farner (former lead singer of Grand Funk Railroad); and Brian Howe (former lead singer of Bad Company).
Kicking off Feb. 26 in Miami, the voyage will feature stops in Key West, Fla. and Grand Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island in the Bahamas.
Organizers say fans will have access to the performers during Q&A sessions and other special events. Fares start at $899 per person, based on double occupancy. More information is online at MoodiesCruise.com.
