Deal watch: Holland America expands promotion

Holland America is sweetening its latest promotion with the addition of on-board spending credits.

The line says customers who book an interior or ocean-view cabin on select seven- to nine-night voyages by Feb. 29 will receive a $50 per person ($100 per cabin) on-board credit.

Customers who book a balcony cabin on a seven- to nine-night cruise will receive $100 per person ($200 per cabin) in credit, while suite bookings will bring a $150 per person ($300 per cabin) credit.

Bookings for longer voyages will result in even higher credit amounts.

The offer is in conjunction with the line's current View and Verandah promotion, which also brings free upgrades and shore excursion discounts.
