Pundits at sea: Mary Matalin, James Carville to headline cruise

Can't get enough of politics this year? Consider this new vacation option: A cruise with Mary Matalin and James Carville.

British-based Cunard says the famed political pundits will headline a five-night sailing of the 2,620-passenger Queen Mary 2 scheduled to kick off July 1 in New York. The round-trip voyage will feature stops in Halifax and Boston.

Cunard says Matalin and Carville will join passengers for a discussion titled Perspectives on the Modern Presidency and a Q&A session.

Known for opposing views, the longtime political advisers, commentators and authors have been involved in Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns and presidencies, respectively. Carville currently is a contributor to This Week with George Stephanopoulos and a professor at Tulane University in New Orleans.

Fares for the voyage start at $1,299 per person, based on double occupancy.
