Deal watch: Princess kicks off spring promotion

Princess Cruises is out with a new promotion that brings on-board credits of up to $600 per cabin with new bookings.

The Come Back New Sale offers $600 per cabin in credits to passengers booking a balcony cabin, mini-suite or suite on a voyage of 13 days or longer. Passengers booking a balcony, mini-suite or suite on a voyage of 10 to 12 days will get a $400 per cabin credit.

Passengers booking a balcony cabin, mini-suite or suite on six- to seven-day voyages will get a $300 per cabin credit.

Passengers booking interior and ocean-view cabins of six nights or longer will receive a $150 to $300 credit, depending on itinerary length.

Princess also is reducing the deposit needed to hold a cabin during the promotion to $100 per person.

To qualify for the offer, bookings must be made by May 12. It's only available to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico and Bermuda.
