Exclusive tour: Inside the most luxurious suite at sea

Just how over-the-top is the Regent Suite on luxury line Regent's new Seven Seas Explorer? See for yourself with a look at our exclusive video tour in the carousel above with Frank Del Rio, the CEO of Regent's parent company.
As can be seen in the video, the $10,000-a-night complex is an opulent home-away-from-home that filled with luxurious furnishings including a bed that cost $150,000 and a Dakota Jackson-designed Steinway piano. It boasts its own spa retreat with sauna and heated lounge chairs. At 4,443 square feet, it's more than 50% larger than the average house in the USA.
Paste BN last month was among a handful of news outlets to get early access to Explorer in advance of its christening in Monaco. At $450 million, it's the most expensive luxury ship ever built. It offers one of the highest ratios of space to passengers in the history of cruising.
Like Regent's last two new ships, Explorer is an all-suite vessel. Only a handful of luxury lines, including Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and Silversea Cruises, offer all-suite vessels.
Explorer is designed to carry 750 passengers. It's Regent's first new ship in more than a decade. With its addition, the line has four vessels.
