Deal watch: New Princess promotion brings free cabin upgrade, more

Princess Cruises is out with another "3 for free" promotion that brings on-board spending credits and other perks with new bookings.

Available through Nov. 16, the sales event encompasses select sailings of six days or more taking place from summer 2017 to spring 2018.

In addition to an on-board spending credit, customers who book during the promotion will get an upgrade to the best cabin within the category they book and free on-board gratuities.

Sailings available during the promotion range from seven-night Alaska and Caribbean voyages to eight-night trips around Japan with fares starting at $599 for a seven-night Mexico cruise.

The offer is available to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico and Bermuda.
