Windstar Cruises to add Asia sailings for 2017
Windstar Cruises is returning to Asia.
The small-ship line says it will deploy the Star Legend to the region in late 2017 for a series of sailings out of Hong Kong and Singapore.
Legend will operate 10- to 14-night itineraries that include stops in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo and the Philippines.
Windstar last offered sailings to Asia in 2015.
The new deployment comes in the wake of a major expansion at the line that brought three new ships in 2014 and 2015. The vessels included Legend and Star Pride as well as sister Star Breeze. Windstar acquired the three yacht-like ships from luxury line Seabourn.
