Deal watch: Luxury line Seabourn touts free upgrades, more

Luxury line Seabourn is out with a promotion that brings free upgrades and other perks with new bookings.

Called the Signature Savings Event, the offer gives customers who book select sailings in 2017 and 2018 a free upgrade and a $500 per person credit toward flights to reach the ship.

Customers booking a premium suite or penthouse also will receive a $1,000 per suite on-board credit. In addition, customers booking any cabin on an Alaska sailings will get a $400 per person credit toward a Ventures by Seabourn excursion. Ventures by Seabourn excursions make use of the motorized Zodiac boats carried on most Seabourn ships.

The promotion also brings savings of up to 15% when customers book multiple voyages that are combined back-to-back.
