Cruise insider: The allure of Regent's overnight port calls

Just how rich is the destination experience on a Regent Seven Seas Cruises voyage? Now you can see for yourself right here at Paste BN's Cruise Hub.
Part 4 of our exclusive five-part video series on the luxury line's recently revamped, 700-passenger Seven Seas Voyager, in the carousel above, offers an insider's look at the extended port calls that are a hallmark of the ship's itineraries. As is the case for all Regent vessels, Voyager often stays in port overnight to allow for a more in-depth experience.
We'll be posting the next installment of the series here at Paste BN's Cruise Hub on Friday. Part 1 and Part 2 of the series look at Voyager's recent makeover and its luxury offerings including an upscale spa and gourmet eateries. Part 3 of the series focuses on Voyager's shore excursion program.
Long billed as one of the most luxurious cruise vessels afloat, Voyager is the second Regent ship to undergo a major bow-to-stern overhaul over the past year as part of a $125 million, fleet-wide upgrade program. It follows Regent's Seven Seas Navigator, which emerged from a significant refurbishment in April 2016.
For a deck-by-deck look at Voyager in the wake of its makeover, don't miss our comprehensive Cruise Ship Tour of the vessel in the carousel below.
