Deal watch: Paul Gauguin Cruises puts South Pacific trips on sale

It's deal time again at Paul Gauguin Cruises, the one-ship line that specializes in sailings to Tahiti, Bora Bora and other South Pacific islands.

The upscale cruise operator is out with a two-week promotion on select 2018 voyages in the region on its 332-passenger Paul Gauguin. Bookings must be made by Nov. 11.

Cruises included in the promotion:

► Seven-night Tahiti & the Society Islands sailing departing on Feb. 3 and 10 now starts at $4,195 per person (down from $4,845). A sailing of the same itinerary on March 24 now starts at $4,595, down from $5,595. Voyages of the itinerary on May 5, May 12 and June 23 also are available at similar discounts. 

► A seven-night Society Islands and Tahiti Iti voyage on June 30 now starts at $4,795 per person (down from $5,845).

► A 10-night Society Islands & Tuamotus sailing on March 7 now starts at $5,195 per person (down from $6,045). A similar voyage on June 6 now starts at $4,995 (down from $6,045. 

Round-trip flights from Los Angeles to Tahiti are included in the fares.
