Deal watch: Azamara Club Cruises promotion brings cabin discounts, other perks
Azamara Club Cruises is out early with a promotion for Wave Season — the period beginning in January when cruise bookings surge.
The upscale line is offering a 50% discount on the fare for the second person staying in a cabin designed for two people. The first person in the cabin pays the full rate.
As part of the promotion, customers bookings a Club Oceanview or higher category of cabin also get one free, unlimited Wi-Fi package (for one device).
Bookings must be made by Feb. 28, and the offer applies to sailings departing on or after May 5.

The promotion is available for select sailings on Azamara's two current vessels, Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey, as well as a new ship called Azamara Pursuit that is joining the Azamara fleet in August.
Since debuting seven years ago, Azamara has carved out a niche in the cruise world by focusing on "destination immersion," a term the company has trademarked and that revolves around its ships staying longer in ports than is common in the industry. The line is known for itineraries with lots of late night and overnight stays in ports, and it also offers a rich array of shore excursions that include multi-day outings and once-a-cruise, exclusive AzAmazing Evenings events.
