Celebrity Cruises touts Wave Season deal

Celebrity Cruises is the latest line to tee up a promotion for Wave Season — the period beginning in January when cruise bookings surge. 

The Miami-based line's Sail Beyond Event will bring savings of up to $150 
per person for the first two passengers in a cabin. Additional passengers in a cabin will get 50% off their fares.  

In addition, customers booking an Ocean View or higher category of cabin can choose two free perks from a list that includes a beverage package, prepaid gratuities, unlimited WiFi and a $150 spending credit. Customers booking a suite will receive all four perks. The extra perks only are available to the first two people booked in a cabin.

The offer will be available starting Wednesday through Jan. 31. It's good for travel from Feb. 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019. 

Celebrity is one of the first major lines to roll out a promotion for Wave Season. Also out early with a Wave Season promotion is upscale Azamara Club Cruises, which is offering a 50% discount on the fare for the second person staying in a cabin designed for two people.
