Carly Rae Jepsen to play Carnival cruise ship
Add Carly Rae Jepsen to the list of big-name performers playing Carnival cruise ships.
The multi-platinum singer/songwriter will put on a free concert on Carnival's 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor in February, the line announced Wednesday.
A late addition to Carnival's live concert line-up for 2018, the performance will take place Feb. 18 on Carnival Splendor's outdoor Lido Deck as the vessel sails from Long Beach, Calif. to the Mexican Riviera.

The concert will be on the second day of a seven-day voyage out of Long Beach that features a day-long stop at Puerto Vallarta and two days at Cabo San Lucas.
It'll be Jepsen's first time playing a cruise ship.
“I’m really looking forward to a night with my fans in what promises to be a unique venue for an incredible night,” she said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
Jepsen joins a growing list of well-known performers to play Carnival ships as part of the Carnival LIVE Concert Series program. Others include musical heavyweights Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood and comedians Jim Gaffigan and Chris Tucker.
