'New York Resized': Amazing aerial images turn Big Apple into dollhouse

New York may be the most photographed city in the world, but a new book of images shows it from a unique new perspective. Using a technique called "Tilt-Shift," photographer Jasper Léonard takes aerial photos and then renders only a select swath in focus. This has the mesmerizing effect of making the city look like a LEGO landscape populated by delicate figurines and Matchbox cars. See some of the amazing examples in the slideshow above and learn more about New York Resized from Lannoo Publishers.
