Police: Man chokes woman in Austin airport line
AUSTIN — A police document says a man put a woman waiting in a security line at an Austin airport in a chokehold, saying he was told to "take the devil to hell."
The Austin American-Statesman reports the man, identified by authorities as 23-year-old Derek Tyler Chapman, was arrested and faces a misdemeanor charge of assault with injury after the Saturday incident at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. He remained in Travis County jail Monday on $20,000 bond. Jail records didn't list an attorney for him.

The woman told authorities she didn't know Chapman.
An arrest affidavit says Chapman told a police officer that "he was the son of God and he was told to take the devil to hell." Chapman also told the officer he felt "a bad vibe" from the woman.
