January's #avgeek gallery: 30 cool aviation photos (2016)

Happy New Year, Today in the Sky readers!

It's time for our first "#avgeek gallery" of 2016. For the uninitiated, it's a batch of fun airplane and aviation photos from around the globe.

The #avgeek gallery also hits a major milestone this month as it enters its second year. The #avgeek gallery first launched in January 2015 and has gone on to become a permanent monthly fixture thanks to popular demand from Today in the Sky readers.

As with previous editions, we turned to photographer and Today in the Sky contributor Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren. He offered us the great shots (above) that we've pulled from his collection.
