Avianca increasing Los Angeles-Bogota service
Colombian carrier Avianca will bolster its schedule between Los Angeles and Bogota, moving to daily service from its current offering of four weekly flights.
Avianca says the change to daily service will take effect March 26, citing "high demand." Avianca operates the route with 250-seat Boeing 787 aircraft.
Los Angeles customers will be able to connect via Bogota to a number of Avianca destinations in South America. Travelers coming from Bogota will be able to connect via Los Angeles to certain flights on Avianca’s Star Alliance partner United. Avianca customers also will be able to connect to Taipei, Taiwan, on partner EVA Air.
