FlixBus has a 99-cent fare sale across the US — but you have to book soon

If you've resolved to travel cheaper in the new year, FlixBus has an offer for you.

Book a ticket before Dec. 22, and your fare for travel between Jan. 6 and March 15 will cost you just 99 cents each way.

FlixBus has more than 100 destinations in the U.S., with core markets in Arizona, Nevada and California. There are also stops in the Northeast, including New York City, Washington and Boston; in the South, mostly in Texas, along the Gulf Coast and in Florida; and in the Pacific Northwest, mostly in Washington and Oregon. 

“Nearly 65 percent of our passengers have never taken the bus before, proving we are offering a different type of bus travel,” said managing director Pierre Gourdain in a statement. “For $0.99, you can fulfill your adventures and be conscious of the environment while doing so.”

Customers can offset carbon emissions for their trips by making a donation to the National Forest Foundation with a ticket purchase.

FlixBus offers complimentary on-board WiFi and power outlets at every seat.
