Delta knocks idiot business travelers in this ad
Slogging drinks alone at an airport bar on your birthday when that familiar pang of isolation hits? Frequent business travelers could compassionately relate to that sentiment. Then again, there's being alone because you're working and there's being alone because you're the guy wearing a tank top and flip flops at an airline lounge.
Praying on that shared feeling of loneliness, Delta made this sketch about a mousy guy who seems to be the victim of circumstance in every country he visits — because he travels for work. Granted, excessive traveling can make you feel jaded, but does that increase your likelihood of getting hit by a car in London or getting lost while out for a jog in Shanghai? Well, Delta seems to think so. But we can't really figure out what Delta is thinking these days.
