Book two separate flights to save hundreds on flights to Europe this summer


Thanks to the strong dollar, Europe is a steal this year. The only problem is getting there, right? Well, while searches on Kayak or Google Flights (which you should be using) might seem pricey, if you're flexible with your exact routing and willing to do a little of your own leg work, you can get to Europe on the cheap. By choosing a bargain destination and then booking your onward connector via a low-cost carrier, you can save hundreds of dollars.

For example, a round-trip ticket to London can cost you more than $800, but if you don't mind spending a little extra time in transit, you can get a flight to Moscow for less than $400 and then book a separate round trip to London for less than $200.
