Condor Ferries releases what might be the worst (or best) safety video of all time (Yes, there is rapping)


If anyone deserves to be haunted by the now-deceased Big Bank Hank of the Sugarhill Gang, it’s Condor Ferries, a UK-based service that runs between England and France. Using the tune of the seminal rap hit, Rapper's Delight, the company put together probably the unhippest safety video ever created.

Not only is the inner-city anthem rapped by possibly the most suburban people ever to populate the planet, but the reworked lyrics, designed to impart basic safety information for ferry passengers, induce more cringes than a Mylie Cyrus TV appearance.

The rap begins:

I’m the C-A-P-T to the A-I-N, and I’m here to let you know
