Man filmed sleeping soundly on moving luggage carousel at airport

It's hard enough to sleep on an airplane, let alone in the airports themselves. Seeing someone slumped in her seat at a departure gate is noteworthy enough, so let's talk for a sec about this guy, who somehow managed to take a nap on the luggage carousel. Sure, there might be something soothing about a gentle ride on the conveyor belt, but how tired (or how drunk) do you have to be to sleep through the sound of an endless line of suitcases banging around behind you?

Those are the kinds of questions we'd like to ask this guy, assuming that somebody could wake him up. According to the Daily Mail, the Hall of Fame-level napper was seen at the Domodedovo Airport, which is just south of Moscow. Other than the people who broke out their iPhone to film this, none of the other travelers seem to be interested in him at all, possibly because they're too busy trying to figure out which slowly rotating gray suitcase is theirs. There are also very few details about where he was going, where he'd been or whether anyone eventually collected him.

Since when is riding on the luggage carousel a thing? In January, Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin rode one into a restricted area at Denver International Airport and was promptly arrested. In February, Rod Stewart's son Sean did the exact same thing at Miami International Airport and earned a one night jail stay for his efforts. And a 27-year-old man – just a dude, not a C-list celeb – rode one slow loop around the luggage conveyor at the Des Moines International Airport in late January. Police officers reported that he "smelled of alcohol" and he told the officers that he'd done it on a dare. Well, at least that one makes sense.
