The double whammy of low fuel prices and a strong dollar has made travel a touch cheaper — at least for Americans traveling domestically or heading over to Europe. We've dropped hints at how to save hundreds on flights to Europe, including booking bargain destinations via separate flights to lock in savings.

The Airlines Reporting Corp, which process millions of transactions for travel agencies, has now given us another weapon in our budget arsenal: the average airfare increase/decrease from 30 domestic and international destinations. Here's the spread on which destinations have the lowest average fares this year compared to last year.
