London Heathrow releases video announcing it plans to become first 'imaginary friend friendly airport'
It is generally accepted that when you hear voices and believe someone's there who no one else can see, you may want to seek treatment. But not to worry, at Heathrow Airport the staff will warmly welcome you, and your imaginary friend — as long as you're still a child.
Heathrow Airport just released a video that appears to be designed to train staff to recognize when a child has an imaginary friend. It outlines protocol for proper communication with said hallucination and its progenitor. The video shows airport staff treating the imaginary companion as well, if not better, than I have ever been treated at an airport.
I guess it's sweet that management wants to help the little tikes with their imaginary friends, but perhaps they should just focus on treating the rest of with a little extra compassion. What's the age cutoff?
