Stay at one of these futuristic hotels, finalists for the Radical Innovation Awards


Accommodation of the not-so-distant future is looking to be portable and practical, yet still impressively luxurious. That's the take-away from this year's Radical Innovation Awards, a competition for the most progressive designs and concepts in hospitality.

The two finalists, Snoozebox and Zoku, are already up and running but the rest of these big, bold ideas are totally feasible, competition founder John Hardy told CNN:

A few years ago we added the provision that it had to be implemented within three to five years. Entries were getting a little crazy and we decided if we were really going to make a positive impact on the industry, we really needed to make a deal happen.
