A tour of Donald Trump's 24 karat gold-plated plane

All the world is suddenly enamored with Donald Trump...well, his private plane anyway. The Washington Post, The Telegraph, and The Washington Times have each run stories this week about the 757 Trump purchased from Microsoft mogul Paul Allen before gilding the hell out of that private, flying lily. Let's take a peek, shall we?

"You'll notice the seatbelts, as well as everything else, are 24 karat gold-plated," says Trump's receptionist Amanda Miller, of The Apprentice fame.

The video, filmed in 2011, is back in a big way this week, racking up millions of views thanks to Trump's presidential candidacy, which has lent him the visibility necessary to make continuous references to his enormous wealth.

The plane's master bathroom has a full shower, as well as more gold, this time taking the form of a bathroom sink. The entertainment system features a movie theater-class sound system. Custom wood cabinetry covers the walls throughout the V.I.P. area, the guest room, and the first class lounge. Plus, mohair, mohair, mohair!

Trump's helicopter may have been the big winner at the Iowa State Fair last month, but his jet is clearly the au courant Trump transport in September. Maybe in October we can all take a peek at his submarine!
