European rail passes are now on sale at up to 25% off

It's a known fact that shoulder season, which happens to be right now, is rife with great travel deals. In addition to cheaper tickets to popular summer destinations, add this one to the list: Rail Europe, Inc. is offering 20-25% off certain European rail passes, including its Eurail Global and Select passes, for bookings made now through Nov. 2—in some cases Dec. 31.

Considering the cheapest Eurail Global Pass is $527 for an adult, there are some good deals to be had. The 20% would knock $105 off that pass, which is good for train travel in 28 countries. Here's the breakdown as spelled out by Rail Europe:

Eurail Global and Select Pass Promotion: 20% off Eurail Global and Select Passes, now through December 31, 2015. With more than 25 different pass options and unlimited rail travel in up to 28 countries, Eurail makes flexible travel a reality.
