Watch London Heathrow make its case for expansion

London's main airport belongs as much to the rest of the world as it does to the city itself, and regularly sits among the busiest hubs on the planet. Heathrow seems to have won its argument for expansion, and a third runway appears imminent at this point. Now, thanks to a video from the airport itself, we can see what the new development will mean for Heathrow, London, and the rest of the world.

An expanded 14 lanes of traffic to be buried within an underground motorway while jets taxi above on the surface, an enormous new network of railways and bus lines, and a dramatic improvement in air quality are a few of the major developments. And if you squint closely enough somewhere in the middle there, you can even see the planned terminal for imaginary friends.
