Here's what it feels like to wander the world's most expensive hotel
The uber-luxe Burj Al-Arab hotel in Dubai has partnered with Google to build what is perhaps the most extensive virtual 360-degree tour of any hotel. The link-up with the technology giant has created an immersive digital experience that includes other multimedia content such as photos, videos and facts about the hotel. What makes this especially compelling is the overwhelming exclusivity of the colorful Burj, one of the world's priciest hotels.
The experience begins with an elaborate intro showing you what it would be like to actually arrive at this insanely expensive property, either by helicopter or Rolls Royce. The Burj lays claim to one of the highest levels of service in any hotel, delivered by an astounding eight "colleagues" (or employees) for every single guest. That kind of service doesn't come cheap — rooms start at around $1,500 per night depending on the season.
The partnership also delivers a look into the ultra-exclusive Royal Suite, which sits on the 27th floor, looking down on the world. Most people have never seen this suite until now, and those that have seen it most certainly paid handsomely for it. The Royal Suite prices at a cool $21,000 — per night! Thankfully, there's enough room up there for at least a dozen of your entourage, meaning that you won't have to find another venue to host your epic Suite party.
