This travel subscription brings you random adventures every few months

Making travel a priority isn't as easy as, well, just making travel a priority. One of the biggest challenges is just finding time to plan that next adventure amidst the hustle of everyday life. We can't always just sit down and make time to dream – and then wade through flight and hotel options while we try to book the dream.

A new travel subscription service is trying to attack that problem by taking the planning out of the process, replacing it with some good old-fashioned spontaneity. It's called Trveler, and it delivers one surprise travel experience every three months.

The subscription fee is $139.99 per month for one person or $249.98 for a couple, and it gets you round-trip airfare to one city every 90 or 120 days, a two-night stay in a 3-star hotel and discounts from preferred suppliers. The chosen destination and hotel will arrive up to two weeks in advance of the trip, offering a completely automated way to build spontaneous travel into everyday life.

The service is geared towards urban professionals seeking periodic weekend escapes to other urban areas, rather than adventure seekers or those looking to book longer term vacations. It's escape as a service!

There's also another option for the less-spontaneous called the Trekker, which allows for more choice as far as destination and hotel. Trveler sends over a 10 cities to select from, as well as a hotel list. After selecting the destination and accommodations, the service then books the round-trip airfare and hotel for the preferred travel dates. Since this service offers a bit more customizability — and reduces the ability for the service to place travelers in hotels — it costs an additional $10 per month.

Trveler requires a four-month commitment, which is how it can guarantee the lower rates and still stay in business. It's clear that travel suppliers are interested in targeting young professionals and so the service has a good chance of getting some solid hotel partners on board. Anything that gets us to travel more is a welcome addition!
