This video shows you how to pack a day's worth of clothing inside a pair of your socks

According to a recent survey conducted by Expedia, air travelers are beyond reluctant to pay baggage fees. More than half of the American fliers who were polled stubbornly insisted that they'd rather try to shove everything into a carry-on than to give the airlines one more dollar. But what if, instead of just trying to stuff your clothing into an overhead bin-friendly bag, you could fit an entire outfit inside a pair of your own socks?

That's the crazy sounding premise behind this YouTube video which — believe it or not — actually delivers. The key is to layer an entire day's worth of clothing on top of each other, folding the arms of your shirt around your carefully placed pants, then rolling both into a tight bundle around a pair of your socks (we promise it makes sense if you watch the video). Then you fold your socks over the side of your wrapped clothing and chuck the entire thing into your backpack or carry-on. Your clothes might be slightly wrinkled when you reach your destination, but unfolding an ironing board is a lot faster — and cheaper — than waiting for your checked suitcase at the baggage carousel.
