San Antonio is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year.

The city is acknowledging this milestone this year with special events. And its hotels are filling up.

San Antonio was originally a remote settlement next to a river. But it is now the seventh-largest city in the USA, attracting more than 34.4 million visitors a year.
