Wednesday's forecast: Cold and dry

Another chilly day will be on tap Wednesday for most of the eastern half of the country, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s forecast for much of the Midwest and Northeast. Some lake-effect snow showers will again be likely along the shores of Lake Erie in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
The Pacific Northwest will have a dank day, due to scattered showers that are forecast to soak coastal regions. Further inland, mountain snow is likely in the high elevations of the northern Rockies.
Some showers are also expected in southern Florida, but it won't be an all-day rain.
The Southwest and California will enjoy another mild, dry November day.
