Thursday's forecast: Bundle up! More arctic air

The frigid weather will continue for much of the central and eastern U.S. on Thursday, with a small snowstorm thrown into the mix to add to the chill.
Yet another Alberta Clipper snowstorm will slide across the Great Lakes and into the Mid-Atlantic by the afternoon and evening, bringing light snow from Chicago to Washington.
A separate storm will bring snow showers from Colorado to Texas. Some sleet and freezing rain could fall late in the day in central and southern Texas.
Warm, dry weather is forecast to continue in the West.
Weather history for Jan. 23: In 1916, the temperature dropped 100 degrees from a morning reading of 44 degrees to an evening low of -56 degrees in Browning, Mont. In 1969, a tornado killed 32 people in Mississippi.
