A wintry mix is likely in the far northern tier while New England digs out from another snowstorm.
East Coast: The storm that walloped New England on Monday will move out to sea by the afternoon. Parts of the mid-Atlantic and coastal Carolinas will see a wet, dreary day.
North: A messy mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain will spread across the northern Rockies, northern Plains and Great Lakes through the day.
West: Other than some nuisance showers in Washington state, the rest of the West will be sunny and pleasant on Tuesday.
Weather history for Feb. 10: In 1933, Oregon set its all-time state low temperature record of -54 degrees in Seneca. In 1982, Indianapolis fell to -21 degrees, a February record low.
