Monday's National forecast: Snow storm in the Ohio Valley


A storm system will make its way through the Ohio River Valley and the Appalachians Monday, with bitter cold persisting in the Northeast and Mid Atlantic, after the latest in a series of four storms in a month roared across parts of New England before finally easing Sunday afternoon.

The Ohio Valley system will eventually make its way towards the Northeast and Mid Atlantic. Showers and thunderstorms will move through the Gulf Coast region, with snow expected in the Front Range.

Louisville, Ky.; Nashville, Tn.; Little Rock, Ar; and St. Louis, Mo. are expected to pick up at least 6 inches of snow.
