Tuesday's forecast: More rain for soggy South

More rain will fall across the sodden South Tuesday, potentially leading to flash floods.
South: Most of the Deep South and the Gulf Coast will again see another soggy day Tuesday. The heaviest rain is likely in coastal sections of Texas and Louisiana, and in portions of Kentucky. Flash floods are possible.
East Coast: Morning showers will dampen the Northeast, though they will linger through the day in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
West: The Northwest and northern Rockies will see rain, snow and wind. The Southwest and California will be sunny and dry.
Weather history for April 14: In 1886, a deadly tornado reportedly sucked the water out of the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, Minn., exposing the river bottom. In 1933, 35 inches of snow fell in Franklin Lake, N.H., a state record for snow.
In 2003, record high temperatures were set in the Midwest. Omaha hit 90 degrees and Minneapolis hit 89.
