The national weather forecast for Tuesday, October 27 calls for rain showers in parts of the Midwest and the Great Lakes, rain showers in the Southeast, Ohio and Tennessee Valleys and evening rain showers in the Pacific Northwest.

The South will stay soggy Tuesday while snow and rain chill the northern Rockies and Plains. Most of the rest of the country will be clear and dry.
South: Muggy, rainy conditions are likely for the southeastern portion of the country on Tuesday. The heaviest rain is likely along the Gulf Coast of Florida, the Ohio Valley, and the Appalachians.
Rockies, Plains: Cold rain and light snow are forecast for the Intermountain West and northern Plains.
