Wednesday's forecast: More storms for Northwest

The nation's worst weather Wednesday will again be in the waterlogged Pacific Northwest.

West: The storm onslaught will continue to blast the Northwest with rain, wind and snow Wednesday. Widespread rain is expected from the Pacific Northwest to northern California and east into northern and central Rockies. Numerous flood watches and advisories are in effect across Washington and northern Idaho.

Central U.S.: Some showers are forecast in the northern Plains and upper Midwest, but the precipitation should stay on the light side. The southern Plains will be clear and warm.

East: Mild temperatures in the 50s, 60s and 70s will continue across the eastern third of the nation on Wednesday. Only northern New England will stay chilly. Some showers and storms are possible in southern Florida.
