Tuesday's forecast: Snow turns to rain in the East
The national weather forecast for Tuesday, January 26th calls for a brief break from the recent winter weather in the East.
Digging out from the big weekend blizzard will be challenged by showers in the East as another round of rain soaks the Pacific Northwest.
East: Light showers and cloudy skies are forecast Tuesday from the Mid-Atlantic to the Southeast. Some light snow will fall around the Great Lakes and in interior New England.
West: Rain will soak coastal sections of Washington and Oregon on Tuesday. Most of the rest of the West should be clear and dry on Tuesday.
