Tuesday's forecast: Soggy along East Coast

A cold front will trigger showers and thunderstorms for the East Coast on Tuesday while another system spreads rain and storms in the Rockies and Northwest.
East, Gulf Coasts: A showery day is on tap for much of the eastern seaboard on Tuesday, all the way from New England to the Southeast coast. Heavy rain is also forecast along the Gulf Coast and in southern Texas, where some severe thunderstorms are possible.
West: Rain is also likely in the Pacific Northwest while scattered showers and thunderstorms fall throughout the Rockies.
