Tuesday's forecast: Storms for central, eastern U.S.

More storms are forecast for the central and eastern U.S. Tuesday while sunny skies rule the West.

East: While clear skies are forecast for the Southeast and Northeast, rain and clouds will again be the story in the Mid-Atlantic states.

Central U.S.: A few severe thunderstorms could rattle portions of the middle Mississippi Valley to the Ohio Valley Tuesday.

West: The northern Rockies will see some rain and snow. The rest of the West will see clear skies and mild to warm temperatures.
