The past weekend's cold front on the East Coast made way for spectacular weather, while showers and thunderstorms remain a threat for parts of the Gulf Coast and Midwest.

Southeast, Gulf Coast: Another day of wet weather as scattered showers will drench the South, from Louisiana to Florida, on Tuesday. The region continues to battle from the devastation caused by the massive flooding earlier this month.

Upper Midwest, Great Plains: Flash floods are possible in western Iowa and portions of Nebraska and northern Missouri. Main threats in the area include damaging winds, hail and possible tornados. Morning and afternoon showers are likely to drench St. Louis and Kansas City.

West Coast: Leftover rain and thunderstorms are expected to splash the Rockies for a second consecutive day. The West Coast will enjoy sunny and comfortable temperatures.
