Tuesday's forecast: Showers soak the East Coast
The national weather forecast for Tuesday, September 27th calls for showers over the East Coast, the Great Lakes and the Gulf.
While the West stays mostly clear, a cold front will soak much of the Eastern Seaboard.
East: Showers are likely throughout most of the day from New England to the Southeast coast as a front slogs across the region.
Great Lakes: A storm will bring some drenching rain showers to the Great Lakes. Temperatures will be in the cool 50s and 60s.
West: Other than a few showers in the Desert Southwest, most of the western third of the nation will see clear skies and mild to warm temperatures.
