Friday's forecast: Cold blast for November
The national weather forecast for Friday, November 11th calls for a cold front to head East, bringing chilly temperatures and some rain. Showers linger in West Texas and the Pacific Northwest.
Another sunny, mild day is forecast for most of the U.S. on Friday. Only a few spots will see rain, in the Northwest and Northeast.
East: A cold front will trigger a few rain and snow showers in portions of the eastern Great Lakes and interior Northeast. Much cooler air will flow in behind the front. The Southeast will be dry and mild.
West: Scattered to widespread rain is forecast for much of the Pacific Northwest by late in the day. A few showers and thunderstorms are also possible in southern New Mexico and west Texas.
