Your Take contributor Candice Trimble put her passion for macro photography above any worry of getting stung to get this shot in Front Royal, Va.

Trimble used her Canon Rebel to capture this photo while she photographing the many flowers in season.

"I noticed all the kinds of insects while photographing, but this particular bee kept hovering near me," Trimble says.

Ready with her camera, Trimble excitedly snapped the photo as the bee flew onto the flower.

Trimble says she is particularly attracted to macro photography because of the small subjects you can bring to life. "There's great beauty in the smallest of things," Trimble says.
