Stanford judge declines to hear another sex case

Judge Persky sparked a lot of debate when he gave a six month sentence to a Stanford swimmer who had sexually assaulted a fellow student. The Northern California judge received sharp criticism online, as well as a withering rebuke in an open letter from the swimmer's victim.
