How To Stick To Your New Year’s Resolutions In 2024

A recent study discovered that how we phrase New Year’s resolutions plays a huge part in whether or not we adhere to them.  Researchers tracked 1,066 people who made resolutions at the end of 2017. It was found that people were 12% more likely to stick to their resolutions if they avoided making vows such as ‘I will quit...’. Instead, people should begin their resolutions with ‘I will start…’. Only 47% of people who said they would quit or avoid something were successful by the end of the year. However, 59% of people who had an “approachable goal” were able to stick to their resolution
