Jaguars To Play Back-To-Back Games In London For Second Time
The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to play in back-to-back games in London for the second straight season, according to Jacksonville.com.
The Jaguars became the first team in history to play two straight games in London and they are expected to return to the English capital.
Jacksonville, who went 2-0 in London in 2023, will play as the designated home team at Wembley Stadium against an unknown opponent.
They will then play at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against the Chicago Bears as the away team, with the games expected for October.
The Jaguars went to London for Week 4 and Week 5 of the NFL calendar, beating the Atlanta Falcons 23-7 and the Buffalo Bills 25-20.
With the two-game experiment being a success, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell left the door open for the trip to be extended to three games. "We like to take things in increments. I think one of the things we always focus on... is to learn from our experience every year. To try something a little different and understand the impact of that," said Roger Goodell, NFL Commissioner.
